Cranial Sacral Therapy

Per Henrik Ling developed a series of massage strokes that focus blood and lymph flow toward the heart. His techniques came to be known as Swedish massage. Swedish is a very soothing and relaxing modality that promotes healthy circulation and proper lymphatic drainage.
Russian Sports
Beginning with Per Henrik Ling, Swedish was brought to Russia as a medical practice. Techniques were developed to include effleurage, wringing, petrissage, friction, vibration, percussion and passive movement. Now massage is an integral part of standard medical training in Russia.
